PROJECT INFO:

The Reprieval Chair is a profound, personal exploration of liberation from societal and self-imposed constraints. Meticulously crafted from a single, ombré glass plane, the material choice embodies both immateriality and resilience, subtly reflecting how past experiences shape us. Its sculptural form powerfully transitions from a dark, constricted base to a lighter, expansive top, visually narrating a journey from feeling captive to achieving self-liberation. This design utilizes the metaphor of constriction and release, alongside a shifting color palette, to articulate an evolution of identity and the transformative process of shedding the subjective self.
